## Formula of Demand Factor

*Demand Factor = Maximum Demand/Connected Load*

Practically the value of maximum demand is smaller than connected load, and thus the demand factor is always less than 1.

Example#1: Calculate the demand factor when the maximum demand of 5 kW connected load is 3.8 kW.

*Demand factor = 3.8/5 = 0.76*
